Eddie R. Jokela
Eddie R. Jokela founded our company in 1949. A First Sergeant in World War II, he was a member of the 10th Mountain Division, the Special Ski Troops. Straight from the Italian Alps he brought home that same discipline he used to lead his infantry. One of the pioneers in the auction industry he conducted over 8000 auctions in his career selling at several weekly Livestock Auction Markets in the evening and private auctions during the day. He also sold Collector Auto Auctions across the country and helped many auctioneers who were new to the business. Eddie passed away in 2010.
E. Randy Jokela
E. Randy Jokela started in the family business as an eleven-year old auctioneer. Now, with over 50 years of auction experience and 6000 auctions, he performs the duties of Sales Manager. A graduate of Concordia College, Moorhead, MN, with an Economics Degree, he is well equipped to plan and implement all cutting-edge auction strategies. Specializing in real estate at auction. (Randy also holds a Minnesota Real Estate License).
Jolene Jokela Veo
Jolene Jokela Veo was chosen the 1996 International Auctioneer Champion Runner-Up in San Diego, CA and the 2008 Minnesota State Champion Auctioneer in Bloomington, MN at the Annual MN State Auctioneers Assoc. (MSAA) Conference & Show. Jokela Veo sells everything from Real Estate to Machinery, Tractors, Autos, Guns, Antiques & Glassware. She is also the Advertising Manager. She is the only woman to have auctioneered at the National Finals Rodeo Bucking Horse & Bull Auction held in Las Vegas, NV. Jolene has been auctioneering for over 40 years selling thousands of auctions. She was recently elected to the MSAA Board of Directors.
David Veo
David Veo hails originally from Montrose, Colorado and has been an integral part of Jokela Auctions for over 25 years. David is a graduate of the Western College of Auctioneering in Billings, MT. David was selected as a Bid Calling Finalist at the Minnesota State Auctioneer’s Association and also served on the MSAA Board of Directors from 2000-2002. David has specialized in Real Estate since 1997 and holds a Minnesota Real Estate Broker’s License since 2001. He handles the listings and closings for Jokela Auctions along with other auctioneer duties.
